Case study · Bird control · Rope access

Pressure cleaned, then netted. With zips for maintenance.

A building with a bird problem above its reception area. We pressure cleaned it, then fitted bird netting with access zips so maintenance teams can still get to the plant behind.

Birds were getting in behind the louvres above a building’s reception area.

Our IRATA team first pressure cleaned the area, then installed bird netting to stop birds returning. Because there is plant behind the louvres that still needs servicing, the netting was fitted with access zips, so maintenance teams can get behind it without cutting or removing the net.

All of the work was done by rope access from above, with only a small barrier zone at ground level.
