Case study · Safety netting · Atrium

Safety netting across an atrium. Designed, installed and removed.

To let a MEWP reach the roof of a large atrium safely, we consulted on and designed the access strategy, then installed the safety netting by rope access and removed it when the work was done.

A MEWP needed to reach the roof of a large atrium, and the drop below had to be protected first.

Invictus Access was consulted on how to do it and designed the access strategy. Our IRATA team then installed safety netting across the atrium, working on ropes to fix it to the structure at each level.

All of the works were signed off by the certified netting company. Once the roof work was complete, we came back and removed the netting.
